EDO/ DOR -ELECTRONIC DELIVER ORDER – is a document to allow transport to collect from the destination wharf.

ATA – ACTUAL TIME OF ARRIVAL

ATD- ACTUAL TIME OF DEPARTURE

ETA – ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL

ETD – ESTIMATED TIME OF DEPARTURE

*MAWB- MASTER AIRWAY BILL – issued by airline / on consol consignor and consignee are freight forwarders. – Direct consignor and consignee are the true seller and buyer

*HAWB- HOUSE AIRWAY BILL – issued by the forwarder if the shipment is a consol a house bill is issued showing the true seller and buyer.

*MBL – MASTER BILL OF LADING- issued by shipping line / on consol consignor and consignee are freight forwarders. – Direct consignor and consignee are the true seller and buyer

*HBL- HOUSE BILL OF LADING – issued by the forwarder if the shipment is a consol a house bill is issued showing the true seller and buyer.

*PBL – PARENT BILL OF LADING – issued if the forwarder is using a co loader. This will show the consignee’s chosen freight forwarder and the supplier will be the coloader.

*TLX/SWB – TELEX RELEASE – is an express release not requiring an original bill for Seafreight only.

*OBL – ORIGINAL BILL OF LADING – is required when full payment of the shipment needs to be proven as paid to the supplier’s bank. Then the bank will release the original documents.

FCL – FULL CONTAINER LOAD

LCL- LESS CONTAINER LOAD

*COO- CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN – a document proving manufacture in a country of origin that has a free trade agreement with destination.

POD – PROOF OF DELIVERY

*CIV- COMERCAIL INVOICE

*PKL- PACKING LIST

*TPD- TIMBER PACKING DECLARATION- which is required for Seafreight shipments to declare if there is wood, or dunnage used inside the container or not and if there is wood is it ISPM15 treated (THIS WILL HAVE A NUMERIC LINK TO A SINGLE SHIPMENT)

*APD- ANNUAL PACKING DECLARATION – which is required for Seafreight shipments to declare if there is wood or dunnage used inside the container or not and if there is wood is it ISPM15 treated (YEARLY PACKING DECLARATION)

POL- PORT OF LOADING

POD- PORT OF DISCHARD

RORO- ROLL ON ROLL OFF -is a self-propelled vehicle that can be moved autonomously.

BBK- BREAK BULK – to large to be in a shipping container and travels as loose goods.

ARN – ARRIVAL NOTICE

TSP – TRANSHIPMENT PORT – is a location where vessels offload containers / and aircrafts offload goods, to then be loaded onto a new vessel or aircraft for final leg to destination.

*BMSB – BROWN MARMORATED STICK BUG -is a bug not located in all countries and reproducers quickly and can have a devastating effect on agriculture.

LOA- LETTER OF AUTHORITY- a document required by the Australian government to conduct customs process on another party’s behalf.

FXC – MIXED SHIPPER CONTAINER -two or more suppliers to the one buyer (mixed goods container multiple suppliers to the consignee container)

BCN- BUYERS CONSOLIDATION – the consignee is buying multiple orders from one supplier.
